Financial Center Event Strategy Lead

The Affluent Events team interacts with the Banking & Wealth Teams to learn and understand their market needs to create upscale JPM Financial Center Pre and Post Grand Opening client experiences.

As a Marketing Strategy Lead within Consumer Banking, you will work with the Head of Affluent Events to develop strategy and oversee the execution of 30 JPMorgan Financial Centers Grand Openings throughout the US over a 1-year period.

Job responsibilities

  • Interact with the Banking & Wealth Teams to learn and understand their market needs to create upscale client experiences.
  • Host weekly meetings with Marketing and Communications teams to develop grand opening events.
  • Manage budgets, present business cases for approval, and process invoices for all events.
  • Find and evaluate event space and determine any additional items needed (chairs, tables, tablecloths, etc.).
  • Write talking points for bankers and advisors to invite clients to each event.
  • Work with Compliance and Legal on creative as well as invitations of special guests, including local politicians and government officials.
  • Create detailed run of shows for each event and host meetings with the markets to review all the details of the upcoming events.
  • Write hosting guides and review these with the advisors/bankers before the event - how to interact, take tours, what to wear, follow-up.
  • Oversee a detailed calendar of all Financial Center events
  • Work with the Communications team to assist in facilitating local public relations and coordinate handling of JPMorgan executives and local community executives.
  • Create post-event summaries for JPMorgan Financial Center executives and market teams.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in events planning.
  • Attention to detail and organized.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time.
  • Proficient in Excel with expertise in Pivot Tables, Word, PowerPoint - able to create detailed presentations, zKipster.
  • Understand the Affluent Market.
  • Travel a day in advance of all events, be onsite at all events from the very beginning to the end of the event - interact with employees and clients.
  • Attend to JPMorgan Financial Center and clients' needs.
