Our Payments division is at the forefront of innovation, providing cutting-edge payment solutions to our diverse client base.

As a Creative Director within our Payments Marketing team, you will use your creative skills and lead the conception and execution of impactful marketing campaigns and go-to-market expression. You will shape the visual identity and brand narrative of our payment solutions across global markets. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, marketing teams, and external agencies to ensure that all creative output is strategically aligned with our business goals.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership to the creative team (internal and external), inspiring them to push the boundaries of design and innovation. Set the creative direction for marketing projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the cohesion and consistency of the Payments expression across all channels, ensuring that the brand's voice, tone, and visual identity are consistently applied. Develop deeper design systems for our Payments group.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and strategy teams to create integrated campaigns that bring to life the brand proposition. Foster relationships with key stakeholders to align on creative vision and execution.
  • Identify and create direction of high-impact marketing campaigns for product moments, launches, digital marketing, and brand initiatives.
  • Work closely with external creative agencies to ensure that all external work is aligned with JPMorgan Chase's standards of excellence and strategic objectives.
  • Pitch creative ideas and brand initiatives to senior leadership. Develop and deliver presentations that communicate creative concepts clearly and effectively. Craft narrative flows in presentation decks and rounds of development while threading in strategic rationale.
  • Maintain the highest standards of creative excellence. Oversee the final delivery of all creative outputs ensuring that they are on brand, on time, and within budget.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Relevant experience in creative leadership roles within fast-paced industries
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing creative strategies that drive business results
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams both internal teams and external agency relationships
  • Understanding of marketing, brand development, and the unique challenges and opportunities within the B2B Segment
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders
  • Strong client-facing skills, with experience presenting and pitching creative concepts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in design and animation, incorporating them into our work where relevant
  • Interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and build consensus
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, even in situations where there are other creative leads
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, Brand or related field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Figma, and other design tools. In-depth knowledge of design software, animation techniques, visual effects, and motion graphics pipelines is highly desired
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
