At Robinhood, We're rethinking our strategic use of social media as a crucial medium in improving our brand's global presence and reshaping how we engage with our audience. We are searching for a Creative Director of Social Media who is passionate about pushing boundaries and crafting compelling, innovative content that resonates with diverse audiences.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all social media initiatives are in lockstep with our broader brand goals. By identifying emerging trends and platforms, this person will maintain our competitive edge, boost brand recognition, and deepen audience engagement, encouraging meaningful connections with our target consumers.

What you’ll do

  • Creative Strategy Development: Spearhead the creation of strategic, brand-aligned creative initiatives based on target audience insights and industry trends. Deepen understanding of the brand's voice to ensure consistency across all social platforms.
  • Content Ideation and Creation: Produce original and culturally resonant content across various formats such as videos, graphics, animations, and interactive experiences.
  • Content Calendar Management: Collaborate with the Marketing Social Media team to manage a comprehensive content calendar, planning strategic distribution to enhance reach and engagement.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead a team of creatives, providing direction, feedback, and mentorship to foster an innovative and cooperative work environment.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee social media initiatives from concept to execution, aligning with brand goals and KPIs, and adjusting strategies based on performance analytics.
  • Community Engagement and Management: Develop engagement strategies and maintain communication with the community, influencers, and partners to strengthen relationships and boost brand visibility.
  • Budget Management: Work with marketing, creative heads, and finance teams to oversee the social media budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and optimal return on investment.
  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in social media, using these insights to keep our strategies ahead of the curve and competitively relevant.

  • Strategic and entrepreneurial problem solver with a curiosity about blending creative ideas with data-driven insights
  • Tech-savvy and articulate, staying current with emerging patterns in social media and effectively communicating across all levels of an organization

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
