As a Senior NPI Operations Leader, you will establish, reinforce, and operate robust and appropriate.

Program Management practices to ensure NPI programs are delivered with efficient build and validation executing using industry best practices in NPI Risk Mitigation.

This role includes developing Project management talent.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead HVDC PDG new product introduction team within the Operations sphere.
  • Specific goals include team leadership in driving issue resolution, schedule, cost, quality.
  • Help establish effective projects governance and drive NPI project reviews effectively.
  • Ensure On Time Delivery of NPI projects with needed Quality.
  • Identify associated risks and mitigate in time. Establish a clear gap between demand Vs available resources, coordinate with functional leaders and make sure the NPIs are resourced.
  • Communicate project status updates to various project partners, including team members and executives within the Company to ensure alignment of goals, priority, expectations, and activities throughout the project life cycle.
  • Synthesise a multitude of issues into a clear, concise, and focused message.
  • Present with confidence and brevity.
  • Ensure budget planning and adherence for NPIs.
  • Review, approve timesheets and control leakage.
  • Help mature the NPI process with support from CTHs and make sure NPI projects are complying with the process.
  • Prepare and participate in NPI audits- both internal and external, follow up and close the actions.

Accountability

  • Resource management in a multi-project environment, and it includes maintaining a good overview of all the projects and ensuring that all the necessary data is always up to date and plausible.
  • Adherence to NPI and NTI budget. Meeting OTD and Quality of NPI projects, along with the PMs

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics / Electrical engineering or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC project management business.
  • Possesses good analytical & presentation skills. Knowledge in the HVDC NPI world.
  • Exceptional data analytics, and communication skills with proven ability to work in a cross-functionally dynamic environment.
  • Experience in working with a multinational team and the ability to work independently with internal customers at all levels & with various cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Constructively challenge the status quo, provide solutions, and implement new processes.
