We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA & Migration Engineer to join our team.
This role focuses on managing, optimizing, and facilitating the migration of our Oracle databases to cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in database administration, migration techniques, and performance optimizations.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Enhance Oracle database performance through the analysis and optimization of AWR reports
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks using detailed analysis and effective optimization strategies
- Adopt and enforce best practices in database tuning and maintenance
- Coordinate and manage the migration of Oracle databases
- Innovate, design, and upkeep scripts to facilitate efficient database migration
- Ensure minimal service interruption and maintain data integrity during migration processes
- Formulate and apply comprehensive strategies for database backup and restoration
- Execute regular tests and audits to confirm the efficiency of backup procedures
- Evaluate, suggest, and apply database partitioning techniques to improve performance
- Oversee the ongoing management of Oracle database configurations, upgrades, and setup
- Consistently observe the health of databases, focusing on performance indicators and security measures
- Work alongside development teams to offer database support for related tasks and projects

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle DBA roles that emphasize database architecture and administration
- Expertise in tuning and optimizing performance using AWR
- Understanding of various scripting languages including Shell, PL/SQL, and Python
- Proficiency in backup and restoration strategies and the tools involved
- Qualifications in implementing and managing database partitioning techniques and strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a sharp eye for detail
- Fluent English communication competencies at a B2+ level
