We are seeking a dynamic Senior Oracle DBA to join our DE&ET Data Stores team.
In this role, the ideal candidate will utilize their extensive experience in both development and support of Oracle database systems to enhance our capabilities and ensure efficient database operations.

Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Oracle databases to meet business requirements
- Support database migrations between on-premises and cloud environments, leveraging flexibility to work with various platforms
- Analyze data access patterns to identify and address hotspots and bottlenecks
- Assist developers by designing and reviewing data models and planning high performing queries
- Establish and define best practices for Oracle database management, including configuration and monitoring health
- Manage the storage capacity of database clusters, assisting in planning for growth based on project projections
- Provide diagnostic support and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring reliability and optimal performance

- Proficiency in Oracle with over 4 years of experience
- In-depth understanding of core Oracle concepts and architecture
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Background in supporting and developing applications with the ability to communicate effectively in English at an upper-intermediate level (B2 or higher)
- Expertise in GoldenGate, Exadata, and RAC technologies
- Competency in managing Linux/Unix server environments
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles, specifically with Jenkins and GitLab
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
