Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and enhance payment services to meet the needs of brands and customers
- Use a range of software development tools to test and maintain software applications following specific design requirements
- Constantly improve operational excellence and engineering practices
- Investigate and endorse the use of new frameworks and architectural/code design patterns
- Construct robust, scalable distributed systems
- Write clean, maintainable, optimized, and well-documented code using software design principles and computer science fundamentals

- 2+ years of experience in Java development
- Experience working on at least 2 large-scale, multi-quarter projects as part of a decentralized team and project
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, J2EE, Spring Boot
- Competency in relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in collaborating across multiple teams
- Adaptability to new payment solutions and tools when necessary
- Familiarity with payment systems
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or tools
