Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the automation testing strategy and roadmap for projects and the team
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to QA team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Review and validate functional, integration, and acceptance test cases created by the team
- Automate advanced test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Plan, assign, and monitor automation tasks to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks to support testing practices
- Integrate testing cycles with DevOps pipelines to promote efficiency and continuous delivery
- Collaborate with developers to identify code quality gaps and advocate for testable architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues creatively while recommending performance improvements
- Lead backend testing efforts, including REST API validations and data-layer testing
- Manage test data, test environments, and version control for test scripts to ensure consistency
- Track and report QA progress, metrics, and risks to stakeholders while recommending mitigation strategies

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
- At least five years of experience in Quality Assurance, including three or more years in test automation development or a combination of development and automation testing
- At least one year of leadership experience in a QA or automation role
- Extensive experience in REST and SOAP API testing with tools like SOAPUI, Postman, and Groovy scripting
- Advanced skills in creating, maintaining, and managing automation scripts to meet system acceptance criteria
- Proven ability to lead QA initiatives and establish best practices within a team
- Experience aligning automation strategies with Agile workflows and integrating testing within sprints
- Strong background in integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker
- Knowledgeable in functional, integration, regression, and performance testing techniques and tools
- Experience writing and reviewing unit tests to ensure code reliability, covering edge cases and usability scenarios
- Comprehensive knowledge of manual testing practices and transitioning manual test cases into automated frameworks
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address complex system challenges
- Strong documentation capabilities, including creating test plans, procedural guides, and QA reports
- Effective communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders, with English proficiency at B2+ level or higher
- Experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management industries
