- Define and drive the automation testing strategy and roadmap for the team and projects
- Mentor, guide, and provide technical expertise to QA team members to enhance their testing skills and knowledge
- Review and approve functional, integration, and acceptance test cases developed by the team
- Automate complex test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing and ensure comprehensive coverage
- Plan, delegate, and track automation tasks to align with project deadlines and quality standards
- Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks to support scalable testing practices
- Integrate test cycles with the DevOps pipeline, promoting efficiency and continuous delivery
- Collaborate with developers to identify potential gaps in code quality and advocate for testable architecture
- Work creatively and efficiently to troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues, providing recommendations to improve system performance
- Drive backend service testing initiatives, including REST APIs and data-layer validations
- Establish and manage a robust approach to test data, test environments, and test script versioning
- Report on QA progress, metrics, and issues to stakeholders and recommend action plans for risk mitigation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation development or a combination of development and test automation
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong expertise in REST & SOAP API testing, including tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, and Groovy scripting
- Advanced proficiency in designing, writing, and maintaining automation scripts to ensure systems and applications meet acceptance criteria
- Demonstrated experience in leading QA initiatives and influencing QA best practices within a team
- Proven ability to align automation strategies with Agile methodologies and ensure testing is integrated within Sprint workflows
- Solid experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker)
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and performance testing techniques and tools
- Experience writing and reviewing unit tests to ensure code reliability, including handling edge cases and usability scenarios
- Excellent knowledge of manual testing practices and the ability to transition manual test cases into automation frameworks
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address complex system issues
- Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create procedural guides, test plans, and QA reports
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in written and spoken English (B2+ level or higher)
- Experience in the Financial Services and/or Wealth Management domain
