We are looking for an experienced Lead Automation Tester with strong Java skills to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation testing strategies and roadmaps for projects and teams
- Provide guidance and mentorship to QA team members to support skill development and knowledge sharing
- Review and approve functional, integration, and acceptance test cases prepared by the team
- Automate advanced test scenarios for regression, functional, and smoke testing to ensure thorough test coverage
- Plan, assign, and oversee automation tasks to meet project deadlines and quality objectives
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks to support efficient testing practices
- Incorporate testing workflows into DevOps pipelines to enhance delivery processes and efficiency
- Collaborate with developers to identify areas for improvement in code quality and advocate for testable system designs
- Analyze and resolve critical system issues while recommending strategies for performance optimization
- Lead testing efforts for backend services, including REST API validation and data-layer testing
- Oversee test environments, manage test data, and maintain version control of test scripts to ensure consistency
- Monitor and report on QA progress, metrics, and risks to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for risk mitigation

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage
- At least five years of experience in Quality Assurance, including three or more years focused on test automation or a combination of testing and development
- At least one year of experience in a leadership or team management role within QA or automation
- Significant experience in testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, and Groovy scripting
- Proficiency in developing, maintaining, and managing automation scripts to meet system acceptance standards
- Proven experience leading QA initiatives and establishing best practices within teams
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and integrating automation strategies into sprint workflows
- Expertise in integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and performance testing methodologies
- Experience writing and reviewing unit tests to ensure code dependability and usability, including edge case validations
- Deep understanding of manual testing practices and transitioning manual test cases into automated frameworks
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills for addressing complex system challenges
- Strong documentation skills, including creating test plans, procedural guides, and QA reports
- Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, with English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher
- Experience in the Financial Services or Wealth Management domains
- Proven ability to deliver training sessions or workshops to enhance team capabilities
