General Manager - Circuit, Protection, and Controls

The Circuit Protection, and Controls (CPC) Division at Eaton Electrical reflects a long tradition of creating solutions that enhance electrical safety, reliability provide efficient power distribution solutions for data centre, renewables, commercial buildings, industry, mining and infrastructure. Our products include circuit protection, automation, switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.

We are looking for a General Manager to define and implement the CPC strategy for ANZ and grow Eaton's market share. This is a critical role and part of the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will lead the CPC business unit and manage sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and service functions. Reporting to the Managing Director of Eaton Electrical ANZ, the GM will be responsible for driving profitable growth through market share acquisition, enabled by building local capabilities and coverage to service a multimillion-dollar market.

Key Duties:

  • Define and implement the CPC Strategy for ANZ to grow Eaton's market share and realise economic value.
  • Develop a motivated and skilled team which is driven by clear vision, strategy, plans, and ongoing performance management, coaching and development.
  • Ensure first class operational performance to optimise efficiency and customer experience.
  • Galvanise employees on linkages between the Eaton vision and the strategy to ensure engagement and alignment.
  • Build Eaton brand awareness through a marketing plan
  • Channel development, selection, and performance management.
  • Align with Eaton factories, global product lines and key stakeholders on strategy and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Over 15 years of experience in power distribution (low or medium voltage) and Motor Control Centers
  • Strong and demonstrated experience in managing a business unit (including P&L), covering sales, marketing, and channel management.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in channel management
  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering, or a post gradate degree in business (MBA)
