Grid Automation Region General Manager is accountable for full P&L performance, from Orders to EBITDA and Free Cash flow. The Region Leader's responsibilities cover all customer interactions and activities in the Region from ITO to OTR, including business development, sales, tendering, products delivery, projects execution and customer support.
He/she manages the regional business strategy and execution, resources development and allocation. He/she collaborates with Grid Automation Product lines, Global Supply Chain, and central functions to deliver growth objectives, ensure on time delivery, and maximize customer satisfaction.

- Own P&L responsibility for the region. Deliver operational results for the portfolio, including financial & market share objectives, managing key business financial performance indicators such as those on the operating statement and balance sheet.
- Drive organization, people, culture transformation to regain market share and deliver operational excellence.
- Deploy Grid Automation strategy in the region based on clear vision, understand competitors' positions, provide SWOT analysis, and drive customer focused commercial intensity, particularly breakthrough actions for growth. Execute Go-To-Market strategy involving both direct and third-party channels to cover the market effectively.
- Ensure operations effectiveness, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs. Delivering products, projects and services efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Leverage collaboration with other Grid Automation functions (Product lines, Supply chain), regions (cross selling, operational improvements...) and other GE Vernova businesses in the region for growth
- Build, lead & coach a team of top talent individuals through NAM and creative employee engagement activities leading to a lean, fast, accountable & winning culture. Succession planning for critical roles in the organization and strong talent retention plan.
- Demonstrate EHS leadership.
- Drive strong integrity and compliance culture within the organization. Ensure compliance with GE Vernova, Grid Solutions and Grid Automation instructions.
Experience/skills
- P&L management experience ($100+M)
- Track record in leading a business transitioning through Solutions orientation/Digitization. Ability to influence and change the status quo
- Being able to manage different Sales Channels /Go-to-Market strategies according to the need & products, projects, services balance
- Operations & projects management experience
- Operational ability to go deep on topics, reconnecting the dots with the various sub teams & embarking everyone into a true inside change. Good balance between strategy and ability to execute
- Desired knowledge of the T&D, Grid, Automation business, and/or Telecom industry and business
The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $350,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits.
