The FinTech team is responsible for providing technical solutions for billing, accounting, and other financial processes at Zillow. We leverage SaaS systems such as Zuora and Workday Financials, and use out of the box and custom integrations to connect to other systems across Zillow!
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Workday Analyst to help us advance our mission in Zillow 2.0! You will work side by side with outstanding development teams across Zillow Core Tech.
As a Senior Workday Analyst, you will:
- Support key business initiatives by implementing and improving Financial business applications including Workday, Zuora, Anaplan, and custom applications.
- Analyze business requirements and translate into technical specifications or configuration steps.
- Partner with analyst, engineering, product, and operations team members to drive the delivery of scalable end-end solutions, from design to solutioning to execution to launch.
- Build deep functional knowledge, and advocate for configuration standards across multiple verticals. (eg. AP, AR, Expenses, Procurement, Accounting, Financial Reporting, etc.).
- Support UAT activities by assisting with test case creation, troubleshooting, and error resolution.
- Operate in compliance with ZG IT policies and SOX requirements.
- Provide Level 2 Operational support, including bulk upload tasks, ad hoc business process execution, security configuration, role and user access updates.
- Participate in on-call incident triage, and issue resolution.
- Support semi-annual Workday release activities and any cyclical updates related to assigned functional areas.
- Develop documentation to support each phase of work and build artifacts related to the internal knowledge base.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $124,000.00 - $198,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience working in an application consulting or application analyst role supporting Finance Accounting, Planning, or Procurement systems.
- Expert understanding of configuration, administration, integrations, and application security.
- Passion for implementing and improving the business user experience and transactional flows.
- Outstanding critical thinking skills to analyze requirements and design and implement scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with the Agile methodology and able to partner with various business teams to extract requirements and raise awareness.
- Preferred experience with Workday and Zuora. Experience with Zuora Billing or Zuora Revenue is a plus.
- Technical knowledge of APIs, Web Services, XML and XSLT is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (MIS, CS, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred) or equivalent experience.
