Job Summary

We are seeking a Cyber Security Consulting Manager specializing in Cyber Resilience to oversee a team of consultants to help build and enhance client cyber resilience strategies. You will be responsible for project management, client engagement, and the development of innovative solutions that strengthen clients' defenses against cyber threats. Practice Managers are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, growth, and operational management of a specific practice area. You will lead a team of consultants, drive business development initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the consulting industry.

As a Manager in Cyber Resilience, you will assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance an organization's ability to anticipate, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents. Your role involves designing and integrating resilience solutions, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert client consultation that align strategies and business objectives to ensure that our clients can maintain operational continuity. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, plan client incident response and recovery, and manage resilience projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cyber resilience strategies to ensure the organization's ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents.
  • Design and deploy resilience solutions that integrate with existing security frameworks and address key areas such as business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and strengthen overall resilience.
  • Advise clients on best practices for enhancing cyber resilience, providing tailored recommendations and guidance based on their specific needs and industry requirements.
  • Ensure that resilience strategies and practices comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST, and assist clients with audits and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee and support incident response efforts, ensuring effective management of cyber incidents and recovery processes to minimize impact and downtime.
  • Manage cyber resilience projects, including planning, execution, and coordination with various teams to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate client teams and internal staff on cyber resilience practices, enhancing their ability to respond to and recover from incidents.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and trends in cyber resilience, continuously refining and updating resilience strategies and solutions to address evolving challenges and improve overall effectiveness.

Delivery Functions:

  • Develops and executes strategic plans to grow the practice area, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and client targeting.
  • Identifies new business opportunities and cultivates relationships with prospective clients to expand the practice portfolio.
  • Leads and mentors a team of consultants, providing guidance on project assignments, skill development, and career growth.
  • Fosters a collaborative and high-performance culture within the practice team.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and aligning consulting services to address business challenges.
  • Ensures client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and delivery of value-added solutions.
  • Oversees day-to-day operations of the practice, including resource allocation, project oversight, and financial performance.
  • Ensures operational efficiency, profitability, and adherence to quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Related Field required and
    Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Related Field preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting or a related industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing consulting practices.

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex business challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Works with minimal direction toward predetermined long-range goals. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desired results. Takes calculated risks.
  • Up to 25% of the time Domestic and International Travel
