This role will lead and manage the Identity Security practice within the GS&A Cyber organization, focusing on providing effective solutions and services to our customers. The primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic plans for IAM, emphasizing a comprehensive identity framework and maturity model that leverages key cybersecurity concepts such as IAM, IGA, CIAM, and PAM.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for the Identity and Access Management practice, aligning them with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Manage and lead a team of Security professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure the team's effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Consulting Services to develop a robust line of Identity Security services, focusing on offering assessments and long-term SOW-based engagements.
- Develop methodologies and frameworks for conducting Identity Security assessments, considering industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and the organization's specific needs.
- Collaborate with Consulting Services to develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) for Identity Security engagements, clearly outlining deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and success criteria.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance during Identity Security engagements, working closely with client stakeholders to understand their business objectives, security challenges, and operational requirements.
- Assess the effectiveness and maturity of clients' Identity Security processes, technologies, and organizational structures, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to develop customized roadmaps and strategies for enhancing clients' Identity Security capabilities, considering their specific needs, available resources, and risk profiles.
- Work with Consulting Services counterpart to identify and integrate emerging technologies and best-of-breed solutions into service offerings, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge and effective Identity Security services.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Identity Security, leveraging industry research, conferences, and vendor partnerships to continuously enhance service offerings.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and industry forums, promoting the organization's expertise in Identity Security and driving brand recognition.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities for Identity Security services, support the development of proposals, and engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor service offerings accordingly.
- Work closely with the team to ensure high-quality delivery of Identity Security engagements, providing oversight, guidance, and support to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7+ years client-facing experience working on designing and implementing complex Identity Management solutions.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or IAM-specific certifications).
- Experience with IAM technologies (Okta, Duo, CyberArk, Sailpoint, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and run a remote team.
- Deep Understanding of common IAM industry standards and best practices.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, post-sales, or non-sales technical capacity in an information security environment
