The WWT DODIC team provides mission-aligned outcomes to ensure the customer is identifying the right solutions to solve their technology challenges. This position is a senior level strategic advisor role requiring the individual to build a dynamic, multi-year pipeline of opportunities in various stages of maturity. As a senior advisor to the field sales team, this individual will be an expert on their assigned market and associated strategic accounts. With this knowledge they will help shape the overall go to market strategy including qualifying and translating WWT's Advanced Technology Center, Integration Technology Center and service capabilities into a high value win themes while leveraging effective working relationships with leaders in these areas to represent the full WWT value proposition to customers. Successful Account Strategy and Business Development advising will promote the complete portfolio of WWTs services, core competencies, and differentiators.
What will you be doing?
The candidate will share overall responsibility for market development strategy and planning and execution for opportunities across the market. The successful candidate will demonstrate the experience and career path trajectory required to manage the full scope of business practices including having worked at the end user level. This includes, but is not limited to, opportunity pipeline management, business development, opportunity identification and qualification, associated reviews, cross functional team collaboration, thought leadership and strategy development, and client management through opportunity close. This position is a remote position and will require around 50% travel (or as needed).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Executive/Sr. level meetings with customers in DODIC to gain a detailed understanding of their technical business and operational needs.
- Serve as an agent for change and thought leader, communicating WWT's innovation in public facing forums/ venues.
- Aid WWT the DODIC team in tying WWT solutions to DODIC customers mission and objectives.
- Fosters relationships and collaborates with our Subject Matter Experts and Account Teams to define account strategy and deliver the right approach for our customers.
- Stays current and interacts with market trends, conferences, social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, local websites) to provide the account teams an edge.
- Assists in identifying new opportunities and developing the trusted relationships that maximize the Account Teams success.
- Provide guidance on new lines of business and sponsorship investments.
- Help develop and execute transformational solutions that enable our DODIC customers to achieve best-in-class performance, reliability, and security, while adhering to industry standard architectural principals and best-practices
- Conduct and/or contribute to workshops that may include enablement sessions, working with WWT experts in network, compute, storage, virtualization, collaboration, security, big data, and application development.
- Demonstrate WWTs value proposition and differentiation effectively to technical and business/operational audiences.
- Develop thorough understanding of WWT's Advanced Technology Center, Integration Technology Center and Asynchrony Labs capabilities and effective working relationships with leaders in these areas to represent the full WWT value proposition to customers.
- Work cross functionally with WWT teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery.
- Participate in industry, product, sales, and procedural training as needed to maintain the knowledge and certifications necessary to be effective.
- Business acumen to identify business needs and opportunities, and the problem-solving skills to achieve them through technological and organizational innovation.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in highly complex, sophisticated environments
- Subject Matter Expert with who demonstrates excellence in collaboration, leadership in the field of IT.
- Master's degree in business or computer science/engineering, and/or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years in an enterprise-scale CIO, CISO, CTO or Deputy role
- Record of building high trust relationships that create a network of partners across a diversified organization.
- Proven team building and relationship management skills.
- Must be a US Citizen
- TS Clearance required, with SCI eligibility.
- Excellent written & oral communication/presentation skills.
- Proven success in creating business/org/mission outcomes.
- In-depth expertise in multiple technologies/solutions.
