Responsibilities

We're growing quickly in Japan and looking to bring on our first in market Talent Acquisition Partner, with a focus on building out our campus and early career recruiting programmes:

Key focus areas:

Campus Recruitment:
  • Develop and execute campus recruitment strategies to attract early-career talent across various business functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other academic institutions.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, campus events, and other student-focused initiatives.
  • Coordinate internship and graduate programs, including designing recruitment campaigns, screening candidates, and onboarding.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand talent needs across departments.
  • Advise on best practices for recruiting and selecting candidates to meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with HR and People teams to ensure alignment with broader talent strategies.
Recruitment Process Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
  • Leverage creative sourcing techniques, including social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify high-potential candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and a professional approach.
Market Insights and Compliance:
  • Stay informed about hiring trends, market conditions, and competitive practices in Japan's talent market.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Japanese labor laws and company policies
Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Soft Skills
  • Language Skills: Native or fluent Japanese (spoken and written) is essential. Business-level English proficiency is also required as you will be working with international colleagues.
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on campus hiring or early career talent acquisition.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships across diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in recruitment technologies and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
