Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant establishing automated control data sourcing, sampling, loading and control execution (data driven testing) capabilities that drives towards our automated control program. Will focus on analytics to support high and inherent risk regulatory analytics tied to major compliance requirements for CEDA's Automated QA Review Program within the Strategy, Transformation, and Automated Controls (STAC) group. This individual will assist supporting the development and implementation of various analytic products inclusive of:
  • New automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records so little to no manual review is required.
  • Operational reporting & data visualization.
  • Data sourcing/sampling/loading, automation of reports & analytic solutions, intelligent automation.
This individual will be responsible for leading multiple activities related to business analysis, that include consulting and partnering with senior level leaders, providing data-driven insights and developing analytical solutions to support a wide array of high priority business initiatives. The ability to capture and aggregate data is essential to driving action through proactive oversight.

In this role, you will:
  • Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards.
  • Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed.
  • Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors.
  • Convert manual controls into data driven solutions that support multiple lines of business.
  • Collaborate across people, processes, and technology/tools within a highly intensive and complex data environment.
  • Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAS Viya, SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide.
  • Complex query writing experience based on multiple data source requirements.
  • Understanding of control automation.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment while staying focused on business objectives.
  • Ability to summarize findings and explain in plain language for a broad audience.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple business partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Alteryx.
  • Document data elements, mapping and metrics for traceability/lineage and use in reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Deep understanding of SAS (SAS EG, SAS Studio).
  • Experience with SAS Viya and SAS VA.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$87,000.00 - $171,800.00
