About the Team:
Walmart Operations Finance (End to End/E2E) is seeking a strategic and operationally savvy leader to join our team. As Senior Director, E2E FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and innovation. This position requires strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities to lead a team in delivering critical financial activities, including planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business analytics. You will be responsible for transforming our FP&A processes by leveraging advanced tools and visibility to connect business activities and visualize data, enabling quick and informed decision-making.

What you'll do...

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the strategic (LRP) and annual (AOP) planning processes, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives and plans.
  • Financial Decision Support: Provide high-quality financial analytics and insights to the organization. Collaborate with leadership to analyze business performance, identify gaps, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Transform Planning & Forecasting: Design and implement a new FP&A approach, utilizing advanced tools to analyze, visualize, and provide actionable insights that transform the way our Finance associates work.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work cross-functionally to bring teams together through indirect influence. Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships to achieve business goals and align strategic goals with financial plans.
  • Communications and Presentations: Provide strategic input for business decisions by overseeing the development of financial analysis and modeling. Prepare presentations and supporting materials to influence business decisions through data and insights.
  • Talent and Leadership: Recruit, select, and develop talent. Support mentorship, ongoing development, and succession planning. Cultivate an environment of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10 to 15+ years of data analytics or data science experience.
  • Extensive finance and finance-related experience.
  • Proven experience leading a team of data scientists with a demonstrated ability to deliver value through data analytics and insights.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence leaders at all levels.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 7 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 9 years’ experience
i n accounting, finance, or related area.
4 years’ supervisory experience.
4 years’ experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
