WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our dynamic Global Finance Nike Direct team. This senior leadership role is responsible for the financial stewardship of our $21B Nike Direct business, driving financial insights and strategies that support its continued growth and success.

As a Senior Director, you will lead financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the global Nike Direct business. You will play a key role in shaping global retail strategy through data-driven decision-making. Your responsibilities include developing and presenting key financial updates during monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews, highlighting KPIs, variances, and actionable insights that clearly communicate company performance.

You will advise senior management with financial and profitability analysis to optimize strategic initiatives while participating in operational implementation. This high-visibility role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a significant impact on global Nike Direct operations.

Partnering directly with the Global Vice President of Nike Direct and other key stakeholders, you will lead a team of high-performing financial professionals. You will provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities while fostering an inclusive, high-performance team culture built on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. This role reports directly to the VP of Global Business Planning.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek a strong people leader with a track record of building engaged high-performance teams. You should have a history of driving results in sophisticated retail operating environments, influencing stakeholders, implementing change, and standardizing processes and reporting. You are a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, and/or budgeting/forecasting.
  • Expertise in retail business management, including understanding of key retail financial drivers, store operations and e-commerce dynamics.
  • Experience managing and developing both direct and indirect teams while fostering a culture of diversity, belonging, and inclusion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and compelling financial storytelling.
  • Results-oriented, high-energy self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to drive impact with cross-functional senior leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership, including VP-level executives, and influence strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with an understanding of managing finances across multiple regions, cultures, and currencies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with expertise in creating integrated financial presentations for executive-level audiences.
