About the Team…
The Office of the Vice President and Chief Counsel, Walmart Growth provides strategic legal partnership to five areas of growth across the global enterprise: Walmart Connect, Digital Identity, Data Ventures, Walmart+ and Marketing.

The right Executive Assistant will be critical to keep business moving forward. We are seeking an Executive Assistant to be based out of our Hoboken, NJ hub location. This person will be a collaborative team member with an engaging style, well-organized, able to effectively prioritize and take the right initiative.

What you'll do...

  • Demonstrate a proactive ability to anticipate needs and changes, then react efficiently with independent judgment. 
  • Establish and foster effective relationships with all levels of internal and external partners. 
  • Solve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity. 
  • Protect the confidentiality of information received as part of job responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and manage executive calendars for efficiency and work optimization demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adjust or prioritize schedules based on last-minute changes.
  • Prepare/submit expense reports as needed through Concur system. 
  • Manage outside counsel spend; monitor deadlines, and communicate between relevant partners
  • Review, validate, monitor and process invoices, contracts, and other administrative documents as appropriate.
  • Manage meetings, including editing slide decks and creating broad communications, running conference lines or webinar/video conferences. 
  • Prepare and organize information to support meetings as needed.
  • Plan, manage, and execute events and meetings of varying scale/size. 
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, both domestic and international (flights, hotel, train and car service, etc.) 
  • Balance multiple projects in support of numerous team members both domestic and internationally. 

What you’ll bring…

  • Effective and creative problem-solving skills while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • High motivation and the ability to thrive in dynamic, nimble work environments.
  • A strong proficiency of Microsoft Office programs, ServiceNow, Concur, Travel Systems, Workday.
  • Experience with travel planning 
  • Knowledge of legal procedures and concepts is desirable.
  • Background working with outside counsel.
  • Proficiency handling privileged information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Background working in a large public corporation.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $54,000.00-$96,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
