We draw on our expertise in strategy, consulting, data analytics, and industry experience to develop fact-based recommendations and delivery plans to improve client performance. The VMS team is specialised in building teams that work within our client’s businesses to drive results.
About your role
Embedded within the client’s business, you’ll enjoy working in a collaborative Tech Squad, delivering against a clear roadmap that will deliver results for the client.
- You are a UX leader curious about emerging technology

- Through collaboration we can deliver the best customer experience across our digital platforms
- Cohesively work with the broader design, research and delivery team to produce designs that champion the best digital experience for our customers while achieving business goals.
- Under the leadership of your Experience Design lead you will own 1-2 major projects – from scoping and costing through to design execution.
- Produce flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes along with detailed supporting documentation
- Regularly review data and insights to create designs that put the customer first while meeting business objectives
- Effectively manage stakeholder’s expectations through regular and relevant interaction. Your stakeholder community includes Product Owners, Dev/Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Compliance representatives
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.
- Make trade-offs in an environment of often-conflicting objectives, e.g. deliver great experience to deadlines with fixed resources. Ruthless prioritisation and an ability to focus on key issues.
- Advocate the value of UX in the broader organisation
What you will need to be successful:
- Proven experience designing conceptually for complex, transactional consumer interfaces across multiple devices
- An ability to solve complex design problems while visualising solutions in appropriate ways
- Proven experience managing UX project delivery in an agile framework within agreed time frames
- Experience managing, coaching and mentoring other designers to achieve desired outcomes while recognising the difference between “good” and “great” work.
- Influential communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated success presenting design in a clear, confident and persuasive manner
- Experience using customer research, behavioural or digital analytics to drive design and optimisation
- Skills in information architecture, task flow and/or decision tree mapping
- To support the application a strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, low and high fidelity design skills, outcomes delivered would be of value.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
