Job Description

Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) division’s charter is to capture new sources of money movement through card and non-card flows, including Visa Business Solutions, Government Solutions and Visa Direct which presents an enormous growth opportunity. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe.  Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments. 

The Visa Business Solutions (VBS) and Visa Government Solutions (VGS) team is a world-class technology organization experiencing tremendous, double-digit growth as we expand products into new payment flows and continue to grow our core card solutions. This is an incredibly exciting team to join as we expand globally. 

Visa is seeking a Software Engineer as a front-end and back-end developer for the Business Solution Product Development team. The Business Solutions Product Development team is part of Visa’s Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) organization and is responsible for designing, developing and managing applications and services for Visa’s Business Solutions line of products. Our range of products include Expense Management, data analytics, Virtual payment capabilities.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of work experience in Computer Science, or related technology/engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in software industry.
• Development experience in building and using Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON --> Development experience in building and using Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON using Java
• Expertise in UI/UX development using Angular or equivalent UI platform.
• Development experience in building and using Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON.
• Experience with a Relational database and/or NoSQL database.
• Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven, Jenkins etc.
• Exposure to NGINX, Cloud deployments etc.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle principles
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Knowledge of mobile app development is added advantage
