Job Description

The Senior Manager for Public Sector is a dynamic, high-impact position based in Warsaw, Poland, as part of the Visa Consulting & Analytics team. You will work to identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive the sales of consulting projects focused around data to a variety of public institutions, tourism organizations, and governments in the 8 CEE markets - Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Croatia, and Bulgaria. This position is instrumental in growing our business and achieving our strategic objectives in these markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the sales of consulting projects centered around data to various types of public institutions, tourism organizations, and governments in the 8 CEE markets.

2. Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the CEE region, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

3. Actively build and manage the sales pipeline across the industry in collaboration with the Government Engagement and Government Solutions team.

4. Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standard and meet the client's needs and expectations.

5. Collaborate with the Data Science team to ensure the effective use of data in all projects and to maintain the high quality of our deliverables.

6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying their needs and challenges and providing tailored solutions.

7. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our services and establishing us as leaders in the field.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or similar is preferred.
2. Extensive experience in strategic consulting, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies for business growth.
3. Significant experience in a senior sales role, preferably with a focus on government engagement.
4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
5. Deep understanding of data and its applications within the public sector.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others.
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time.
