Develops marketing plans for competitive Vanguard products that contribute to key business priorities and desired outcomes.
As part of the European Investment Marketing team you will be responsible for ensuring more investors find success with Vanguard's world-class investment management capabilities and products. Your role will be to ensure multi-asset funds and model portfolios are clearly described, well positioned and adequately supported throughout the sales funnel, and across market cycles and distribution channels. In this function, you will be a key driver of implementing marketing initiatives to deliver against the overarching European B2B strategy.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and marketing (positioning) skills, relationship management and the ability to persuade and influence across multiple stakeholders. You will have experience creating promotional materials for products in both the face-to-face and digital environment.

In this role, you will:
- Lead the Multi-Asset (MA) and Model Portfolio Solutions (MPS) working pod as product owner for Europe, driving the strategy and roadmap in very close collaboration with marketing, distribution and product management stakeholders.
- Develop and manage marketing activity to drive the health and commercial success of Vanguard's multi-asset funds and model portfolios.
- Work in an agile way to ensure that MA and MPS content and activity is prioritized, scheduled and executed according to the agreed roadmap and timelines.
- Independently initiate and/or lead investment marketing programs to improve the positioning and uptake of your designated product area.
- Work with editorial, digital and production teams to create prioritised marketing documents, insights, sales materials, communications and digital journeys to ensure products are supported throughout the sales funnel in both face-to-face and online channels.
- Support accurate and timely quarterly reporting of performance and commentary for your product area, as well as managing other periodic updates in close collaboration with shared services.
- Support the launch of new products with clear positioning and key take-to-market collateral, announcements, and training materials.
- Create materials to educate crew and clients on the features, benefits, and associated messaging for all products and ensure these are consistently applied across all client segments.
- Manage legal, compliance and subject matter expert signoffs to ensure materials are compliant and appropriate.
- Closely work with the channel marketing, product and distribution functions to ensure that product materials and insights are aligned to channel campaigns and used effectively in light with signals program

What it takes
- Minimum 5 years related work experience in asset management
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.
- An ideal candidate will have experience in strategic product positioning and communication with strong written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of index funds & ETFs, multi-asset funds or model portfolios an advantage
- Experience in delivering cross-departmental projects with strong project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (assertive, consensus building).
- Ability to persuade and influence stakeholders to achieve a coordinated process with optimal outcomes.
- Experience with financial advisor and wholesale investment professionals an advantage.
- Experience in Agile and NWoW is a plus.
- German or Italian language an advantage but not mandatory
