We are seeking digitally savvy investment marketing professional to join our team as a Product Marketing Consultant, providing hands-on strategic and tactical leadership working as part of a high-performance marketing team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In close collaboration with the AVP Marketing Investment Management Group, this vital position will lead ETF marketing strategy, planning and execution to drive growth spanning content and promotional asset development, product marketing, media and subadviser partnerships, budget and digital experiences.
Maintain key relationships with media partners, Product Management, subadvisers, Compliance, distribution and other key stakeholders.
Manage and optimize ETF marketing budget, media partnerships and promotional mix spanning display advertising, paid search, campaign pages, web experiences.
Develop and execute journey marketing content and coordinate with digital partners to deliver personalized experiences at scale generate targeted impressions and engagements serving financial professionals.
Update quarterly marketing materials using a dynamic publish environment and in tight coordination with the marketing team.
Manage the creative development of ETF product marketing materials, white papers, infographics as well as promotional journey assets (emails, social posts, banner ads, native ads, etc.), websites (content, navigation, multi-media) and event experiences working with agency partners and product management.
Coordinate the execution of webinars, events and customer journeys within the overall marketing calendar.
Other duties as assigned. As an integral member of a high-performance team, this role may be asked to lead and support opportunities to support other products and channels including funds, annuities, retirement, special projects and cross-company initiatives.
SKILS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Financial services product and/or marketing experience (ETF and/or Funds experience strongly preferred.)
- Marketing communications development - proven ability to work with subject matter experts, writers and agency partners to develop product and marketing content. (Editorial skills, project management, attention to detail and ability to manage the compliance review processes is essential)
- Project and program management – proven ability to set work priorities, balance and organize work in a fast-paced and work independently as well as in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Ability to conceptualize and manage large, complex projects and effectively drive results in a large, matrix management organization.
- Financial product marketing experience (ETFs, Funds a plus but will consider additional backgrounds such as annuities or life insurance. Investment related content development experience a definite plus.
- Problem solving – proven ability to identify and structure problems and issues, brainstorm solutions with team, logically present ideas to solve problems and consider team input, develop plans to solve problems and execute them effectively
- Relationship management - ability to build successful and strong partnerships both internally and externally to drive the implementation and prioritization of key marketing initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 5+ years related professional experience in investment or financial product marketing within financial services with the skills and competencies noted above.
- A professional that can work independently but highly collaboratively as part of a high-performance team.
- Strong project management skills to manage timely delivery of projects and escalate/resolve issues as needed.
- Experience in managing content to different audiences across multiple channels and formats, including digital (web, social) and print

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, finance, business administration or journalism. Graduate level studies in marketing, business administration or related field is helpful.

Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred. Master’s degree is a plus.
License/Certification/Designation: Technical financial services designations such as FINRA, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI considered a plus. Additional licensing may be required to hold this position; and associates will need to acquire the required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Additional licenses/registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented. If an associate fails or is unable to acquire required licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit, the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position.
Experience: Typically eight or more years related professional experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, financial services, or related field.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: In-depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, insurance and/or financial services products, distribution systems, and customers. Knowledge of project leadership concepts and methodologies. Possesses strong verbal and written skills needed to develop and review research studies, communicate research findings, market recommendations based on findings, and maintain relationships. Ability to lead and prioritize projects. Ability to function independently or in a team environment with limited supervision. Demonstrates core marketing proficiencies, including strategy development, utilization of insights and analytics, building brand equity and developing effective marketing communications.
