About the role:

The Vice President, Order to Cash (OTC) will be responsible for the OTC process for customers across all UKG product offerings. This leadership role is responsible for proactively optimizing financial operations and collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet the needs of a growing and changing business. The VP, OTC is also responsible for developing and monitoring KPIs for order processing, timeliness and accuracy of invoicing. The ideal candidate will be an individual who can lead multiple projects at one time, who uses data to make key decisions, and has a deep understanding of quoting, order management, contract management and billing systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy, decision making and execution for order-to-cash business system and process evolution
  • Oversee the order to cash process from order placement to invoicing, including contracts, renewals, updates and amendments
  • Design and execute business processes to ensure accuracy of downstream data that support critical business insights and activities
  • Monitor KPIs and create and execute on action plans to drive improvement
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal teams to streamline the order to cash process and improve efficiency
  • As needed, implement and maintain modern systems and/or controls to support order management, invoicing, and contract amendments
  • Lead and grow a team of Financial Operations professionals across multiple continents with attention paid to frequent training, performance assessment, and process improvement
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Renewals and Customer Support functions to ensure process excellence and the best possible outcomes for the company and our clients
  • Lead a data-driven approach using Business Intelligence and AI to drive process and strategy decisions
  • Lead acquisition integration efforts for billing and payments
  • Work with VP of Global Finance Operations to achieve timely payments

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of order management, contract management, billing and invoicing procedures, compliance, and risk management
  • Proven experience as a valued business partner
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with experience managing large cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail with strong problem solving and analytical mindset
  • Ability to assess processes, identify inefficiencies and manage the project to ensure results are achieved
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage financial data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and drive change initiatives effectively

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in order to cash or similar roles
  • At least 12 or more years of management experience with large teams in multiple locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a large high-growth global SaaS or tech company is strongly preferred

The pay range for this position is $227k to $327k, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
