About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Director to help oversee and support a key new focus area for KeepTruckin. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Leader to join our team that is leading the charge in a rapidly evolving new market for the company. This leader will own all finance touchpoints within our payments business. This role will be responsible for managing the creation and maintenance of all financial models and tools that support the business, as well as helping to determine how best to fund and provide controls and oversight. The ability to provide insights and analytics to support them will allow the candidate to be a thought partner to senior management. This role will report into the finance organization with a strong dotted line to the payments business leader and have plenty of C-level visibility. The ideal candidate should have experience leading a team and will have had operational and financial experience working in a payments business. You will also be a key player in evaluating strategic resource allocation, targets, and incentive compensation.
What You'll Do:
- Serve in a divisional CFO-like capacity for our payments business line.
- Create analyses that allow leaders to make clear decisions through strategic visible projects
- Forecast, analyze and report on our performance
- Work with senior leaders and partners to surface strategic insights
- Partner with leadership to develop new strategies to increase growth in this market
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, and Business Intelligence (among other teams) to identify and understand complex relationships between different aspects of our business as well as to ensure adequate controls are in place
- Serve as a trusted business partner to the GTM Leadership by keeping team apprised of financial results/issues and emerging trends, provide a breadth of insight and financial decision support; create analyses, commentary and presentation materials
- Influence business decisions via in-depth analysis and propose broad solutions and approaches to enable successful execution.
What We're Looking For:
- 9+ years of relevant experience, including a background in credit or consumer/merchant credit products
- Prior finance or strategy experience at a FinTech, bank or credit card network
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions), there will be a case study
- Experience managing a team
- Experience with SQL and comfort working with large datasets, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization
