You are an organized and detail-oriented HR professional with a couple of years of experience, ideally within HR Shared Services. You have strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll processes, and HR systems like Workday, coupled with your advanced Excel skills,. You thrive in a global, cross-functional environment, balancing multiple priorities with excellent time management and communication skills. Confidentiality and discretion are second nature to you, and you are always seeking ways to improve processes to enhance the employee experience. Fluency in Turkish is essential, and proficiency in English is a strong asset.

About this role
As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our employee experience by managing critical HR processes within the employee lifecycle from onboarding, and compliance with Turkish labor laws. This position requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to work across global teams while ensuring data integrity and a seamless employee lifecycle experience. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to system improvements and process optimization, directly impacting the efficiency and scalability of our People Operations team.
What you'll be doing- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for People Operations processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Manage regional relationships with local vendors, Payroll, and Benefits, ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions.
- Ensure compliance with Turkish Labor Law, maintaining records, and handling timely notifications and reports.
- Support visa processes, coordinate with immigration attorneys, and manage employee communication.
- Provide Tier 1 support for global employee lifecycle changes, from Onboarding to Termination, ensuring consistency with labor laws.
- Respond to employee inquiries, triage and escalate as necessary, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs for business processes and user experience improvement.
- Manage data in Workday, support reporting, and maintain data governance and compliance.
What you’ll have- 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in HR Shared Services.
- Familiarity with Turkish Labor Law, Social Security, and related legislation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in both Turkish and English language .
- Strong understanding of payroll cycles and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
- Proficiency in Workday, Greenhouse, ServiceNow, or similar SAAS-based systems.
- Ability to work independently within a distributed team and manage confidential information responsibly.
