Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst, Team Member Relations.

Reporting to the Team Member Relations Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to support production team members and section management to resolve issues/concerns.

This onsite position is based at our manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage daily investigations and corrective action situations:

    • Create corrective action documents.
    • Facilitate and/or support issuance of corrective action.
    • Make recommendations based on facts gathered, support peer reviews, and more.
    • Documentation of investigations (with legal concurrence of decision as needed).
  • Group Leader / Supervisor support and assistance for policy interpretation and team member relations management.
  • Prioritize projects and/or activities with the demands of the production floor as well as the administrative office personnel.
  • Manage local labor relations; team member morale, labor management systems (Shokuba Junkai).
  • Manage policies, policy adherence, and consistent application of policies.
  • Achieve 100% on compliance activities: attendance audits, ethics training, HR annual audit, compliance taskforce.
  • Support policy input and concern resolution management.
  • Executive round table forum facilitation.
  • Effective Daily Labor Management (EDLM); includes weekly/monthly reports, data gathering and analysis, trend analysis, and heat map tracking.
  • Responsible for team building activities.
  • Facilitate policy training in New Hire Orientation.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, OR equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business Management, or closely related discipline.
  • Human resources, employee relations, and/or investigations experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple daily tasks and projects with minimal direction.
  • Experience handling confidential matters and documentation.
  • Experience managing conflict resolution.
  • Experience coaching employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability and willingness to support rotating shifts of 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM and 4:45 PM to 1:00 AM.

Added bonus if you have

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher specifically in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Toyota Production System tools experience.
