Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Team Member Relations Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure Team Member Relations functions are met.

Reporting to the Team Member Relations Manager, the person in this role will support the Team Member Relations department's objective to develop and maintain positive employee relations and assure that the management team understands the intent and spirit of Toyota Human Resources policies.

This onsite, night shift position is based at our new battery manufacturing facility in Liberty, North Carolina. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location. Relocation assistance is available for this position (if applicable).

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for ensuring positive employee relations.
  • Assisting all levels of the organization with concern resolution.
  • Train, coach, and provide guidance to supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Act as a business partner to all levels of management.
  • Implementing corrective action when applicable.
  • Group Leader policy training.
  • Manage team member issues and concerns.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent professional work experience relevant to this position.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in an employee relations/team member relations role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working independently to develop solutions for complex problems based on facts, experience, and judgment.
  • Experience in preparing documentation, presenting, and gaining approval for corrective action recommendation.
  • Experience managing conflict resolution.
  • Experience having responsibility for confidential documentation.
  • Experience in a customer service role (daily face to face communication with customers).
  • Experience managing multiple daily tasks and projects with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability and willingness to work night shift, typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Ability and willingness to cover other shifts when needed.
  • Ability to work from multiple areas of a large manufacturing facility, including but not limited to attending in-person meetings held at various locations throughout the facility, engaging with employees working in different areas throughout the facility, etc.

Added bonus if you have

  • HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI)
  • Six Sigma certification and/or Toyota TBP problem solving completion through panel.
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with one or more of the following systems: UKG, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power BI, Qualtrics.
