About
Our regional communications team plays an integral role in TikTok's global storytelling and forms an essential part of a connected and growing team in the global communications function. We are looking for an outstanding Senior Communications Manager to join us at TikTok South Korea and help make an impact on our brand and our business.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of communications plans that advance business priorities and reach key audiences.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement a range of proactive communications campaigns and relevant local narratives, from key partnerships, product, consumer/brand campaign announcements to evergreen story opportunities.
- Cultivate strong media relationships to land stories, advance our brand narratives and reach key audiences. Engage partners, third parties, and other KOLs to build credibility and advocacy for the brand.
- Develop messaging and talking points to support our communications objectives and work with local PR agencies to ensure implementation of our programmes and initiatives
- Partnering with PR agency teams to deliver business and communication results.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience in PR and Communications field
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Communications or related field
- Strong command of spoken and written in English
- Ability to navigate and form effective relationships and collaborate with colleagues across different departments and functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced working in PR agency experience
- Established relationships with tech, consumer/lifestyle and business media
- Deep understanding of and passion for tech and consumer/brand
- Works well under pressure and is motivated in a fast paced environment
- Multimedia content creation and editing skills a plus
