We are seeking a self-motivated and action-driven Finance BP with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to be an integral member of the TikTok US Data Security team. As a Finance BP, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, and contributing to the overall success of TikTok's data security initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in planning, budgeting, forecasting, actualizing, project oversight, management reporting, contract reviews, collaboration, and business partnering.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining core finance infrastructure and documentation supporting the financial planning and analysis function within TikTok US Data Security division. This includes providing front line support on month end close activities (including accruals) and quarterly re-forecasts in coordination with accounting and global finance teams.
- Work cross-functionally and maintain responsibility for setting up/maintaining the finance processes by which we collate data for reporting out to business teams. Provide the finance perspective on efforts to better visualize data for various business teams as well as develop a deep understanding of our finance 'tech-stack' as a SME.
- Work with local and global finance teams on various company-wide initiatives for enhanced process efficiency as well as more accurate and timely reporting/analysis.
- Responsible for the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for certain business teams within the TikTok US Data Security division, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with local business leaders to manage and review the budget, track and approve the budget implementation, including but not limited to project, contract, purchase order, and other approvals.
- Conduct contract reviews, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with the organization's financial objectives and risk tolerance.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive efficiency and optimize resource allocation.
- Oversee project financials and provide strategic guidance to ensure projects are executed within budget and financial goals are met.
- Deliver management reporting and utilize visualization tools, providing accurate and timely financial and operational insights to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
-2+ years of financial planning and analysis or equivalent experience in advisory, with a focus on technology, or related industries.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting large datasets to drive actionable insights.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, quickly adapt to changes, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of progressive finance, financial management, and budgeting experience with a deep understanding of accounting processes
- Experience in contract review, with the ability to assess financial implications and risks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively presenting complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining data security and privacy.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $160444 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
