Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Customer Service Representative to join our world-class team in Mumbai. As a key member of our Customer Service department, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with customers for Service business on Maintenance contracts and spare parts, and other service inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with the Field Service team, Supply chain, and other service coordinators.
  • Prepare quotations for spare parts in response to FSE requests, customer requests, or tender requests.
  • Handle customer requests and follow up for purchase orders and payments.
  • Initiate the renewal process of Service Contracts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely invoicing of contracts and follow up on unpaid invoices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Contract Customer Data in SAP and other systems.
  • Maintain Contract Forecasting file and run monthly renewal lists to ensure timely renewal and conversion process.
  • Coordinate with the legal department and field team to obtain acceptance/approval on Terms and conditions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software.
