Job Description

Objective:

  • Responsible for providing onsite and remote, pre and post sales technical support of Thermo Fisher Scientific products to customers and field personnel, as well as relaying customer feedback to the organization.
  • Responsible for driving Innovation and collaboration with internal and external collaborators. Gain values for customers and ourselves, strengthen dedication of the customers.
  • Work closely with the technical support team to align with all corporate initiatives consistent with Thermo Fisher Scientific's strategic plan.

  • Minimum Qualifications: M.S. in immunology or life sciences or a similar field. PhD in research background includes Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular biology, cell biology, cancer research or similar field, post-Dr. Oversea experiences are preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of Cell Analysis Instruments (CAI) through a variety of interfaces, e.g. ELISA, flow cytometry, cell imaging and analysis and cell based functional study, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provides start-up applications training to new customers in their laboratories or CEC and demonstrates accurate operating procedures.
  • Plans and work together with our customers to help them develop new technical methods and explore new experimental approaches.
  • Assists KOL/KA relationship establishment through technical and application support.
  • Supports and participates in dealer/distributor product training; Prioritizes hands-on training for contracted dealers' engineers or application specialists for better dealers' service coverage.
  • Prepare and present seminars to wide array of audiences including customers, potential customers, Sales Representatives and other employees as requested.
  • To identify customer opportunities, needs and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Emotional intelligence and a desire to help people and address problems are important traits. Good presentation, interpersonal skills and commercial sense, excellent communication skill to look after the scientific communication with customers.
  • Confirmed ability to quickly learn large amounts of new, sophisticated technical information.
  • High energy, excellent team spirit and the ability to work under pressure. Initiative, self-motivated, growth mindset and meticulous
