Position: Analyst, Supplier Relationship Management
As the Analyst, Supplier Relationship Management, reporting to the AVP of Supplier Relationship Management (part of the SSRE Center of Excellence), you will support business strategy and promote strong supplier relationships to meet enterprise and business unit objectives.
This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office in Hartford, CT 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
The ideal candidate will:
- Support efforts to ensure supplier governance policies and standards are deployed and adhered to by the supplier manager community
- Support efforts to ensure that supplier managers have supplier governance deployed to enable sufficient oversight over their respective suppliers
- Coordinate effective supplier communications and cyber-related outreach
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Supplier Governance Activities
- Collaborate and partner with Corporate Information Protection, Business Resiliency Office, Compliance, and Privacy/Legal teams, as required
- Perform risk control maintenance activities in corporate risk management system (Archer)
- Maintain accuracy of vendor-related key contacts in support of regulatory or other required communications
- Support and maintain risk tier controls, accountabilities and standards
- Identify opportunities to enhance risk governance processes
- Provide Supplier Financial Stability Assessment support
- Monitor Supplier Governance Adherence
- Perform quarterly practice reviews
- Partner with Lines of Business to close gaps and improve processes
- Supplier Policy Portal and Required Training
- Maintain the Supplier Policy Portal
- Provide training working with Supplier Governance leadership
- Ensure non-employees complete required Privacy & Security training
- Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) and Supplier communication-related support
- Maintain supplier event communications and artifacts
- Provide project management support, as needed
- Data/Reporting:
- Understanding and interpreting metrics to identify insights that inform our supplier governance processes
- Construct supplier governance-related materials for communication with management
Qualifications:
Educational Level/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supplier management or governance within a procurement function.
- Experience in risk governance within procurement preferred.
- Experience with procurement and supplier risk solutions (e.g., Coupa, Archer) a plus.
Professional Skills
- Working knowledge of Supplier Management and Procurement processes.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in supporting the implementation and monitoring governance policies.
- Advanced skills in Excel and proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills, capable of conveying information clearly and concisely.
- Self-starter who is resourceful, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$74,720 - $112,080
