Job Description
We are looking for the Regional Travel Analyst to join our Jabil team!
The Regional Travel Analyst will provide regional support and governance for the Global Travel program. Responsibilities of this position include matters related to the corporate travel program including policy compliance, travel technology, travel coordinator support, reporting, as well as being the primary contact for travel and supplier issues. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the corporate travel industry, online booking tools, GDS systems, data analytics, travel supplier relations, and airline/hotel sourcing. As part of the Global Travel team, this position will support travel operations and other Procurement-related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides guidance, technical support, and training to regional travel coordinators and travelers. Has expert knowledge and is a strong advocate of the corporate travel policy and compliance.
- Participates in all regional travel management company (agency) operations calls and onsite meetings (if local) between TMC and local TC or office manager within each country. Provides recommendation for issue resolution.
- Supports and liaises with all regional travel suppliers on issue resolution (i.e. traveler complaints, hotel billing issues, agency invoicing issues, car rental accidents, etc.)
- Updates issues log with new issues and resolutions.
- Develop and run scheduled and ad-hoc reports from all travel-related systems.
- Provide local / regional hotel recommendations for global hotel program.
- Participates or leads special projects as requested.
- Escalate issues as required to Global Travel Operations Supervisor.
- Monitor unused tickets and action exchange process with travel agency to prevent loss of funds.
- Record air, car, hotel savings and upload quarterly to designated platform.
- Maintain the Global Travel intranet site.
- Provide secondary support for Concur Request and Travel tools.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Basic understanding of Travel Industry terms and concepts.
- Knowledge of account and operations management, sales, and implementation.
- Highly effective problem-solving skills.
- Strategic relationship management skills and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently, developing strategies and action plans for implementation of goals and objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project and organizational skills.
- Must be able to produce accurate and effective documents, spreadsheets, presentations and other materials as needed.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with suppliers, travelers, travel coordinators, leadership and the Global Travel team.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS SharePoint) and e-mail skills required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's Degree Preferred.
- 5-years work-related experience required, preferably in corporate travel industry obtained through agency, hotel, airline, or corporate procurement involvement.
- Preferred experience in travel operations or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
