Job Overview

The purpose of the Lead - Supply Planning & MRP Excellence position is to own and drive the development, governance, and continuous improvement of world-class, end-to-end supply planning strategies and MRP processes across the global supply chain network. This role is critical in ensuring the alignment of supply chain planning processes with the organization's strategic and transformational goals, including inventory optimization, lead time reduction, and delivering competitive customer service levels at optimal total cost.

The individual will be responsible for defining and governing stocking strategies, optimizing safety stock levels, improving lot size accuracy & performance, and ensuring MRP systems and parameters are harmonized and effectively executed.

By collaborating with cross-regional and cross-functional teams, this role will drive sustainable improvements in inventory Days on Hand (DOH) and health, supply chain lead time accuracy, and customer service performance, delivering competitive supply chain advantages in speed, reliability, agility, and resilience.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 or more years of Supply Chain planning. S&OE, S&OP, Supply Chain planning, inventory management, production planning, MRP governance, and additional experience on operations, preferably in an Automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Very strong system and process background across E2E Supply Chain
  • Proven track record of owning and driving inventory optimization and supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • 5 or more years of leadership experience of cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, SAP IBP, or relevant end to end planning tool in a global planning environment
  • APICS, Lean certification, IBF or equivalent certification is a plus.•
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong Experience with Matrix Organizations
  • Cross cultural experience with leading of global Teams
  • Very strong knowledge of operations/manufacturing systems, including quality methods and MRPII concepts.
  • Fluent Ebglish
  • Travel of 25-35% required
