Job Overview

TE Connectivity's IT Business Analysis Teams analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. They provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. They also configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and design details of automated systems. At times, TE's IT Business Analysis Teams may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Foster effective collaboration with diverse teams across various functions and regions.
  • Analyze complex supply chain data sets to develop valuable insights and recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement data-driven solutions that align with strategic objectives.
  • Utilize supply chain analytics tools, models, and reports to support decision-making processes, enhance visibility, and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate supply chain performance, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor progress towards operational goals.
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to develop/ collaborate with Data Viz team to create insightful dashboards for stakeholders, enabling effective communication of supply chain performance metrics.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data insights to drive process implementation and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management and apply them to drive innovation and performance improvement.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of key supply chain processes, such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics, to identify areas for optimization.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data insights to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with stake holders.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Translate complex analytical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for stakeholders.
  • Designs and delivers core and ad hoc Analysis, along with first level interpretation to provide insights and support decision making by individuals, business group managers, and division leaders.
  • Generate and maintain business decision specific reports, dashboards and analytical solutions using multiple AI/BI tools, Business Objects, SAP, SQL Server, and other sources
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the Global Supply Chain

Competencies And Experience Required/Desired

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain management, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years' work experience in related role.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or supply chain analytics, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools like Python, Advance excel, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge on Data Engineering tools like ETL, Azure DW, Azure Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management concepts, including inventory management, transportation, procurement, and demand forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of database structures, data modeling, and data management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
  • SAP working knowledge in supply chain is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
