Job Overview

TE Connectivity's IT Operations Teams support hardware installation and configuration and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. They monitor batch schedules and take actions as necessary in response to schedule problems or abnormal program terminations and manage tape backups, including physical tape handling; coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot employee issues with personal computers and related systems; provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. TE's IT Operations Teams provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. They develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support. At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and server installations.

The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for all computing needs in a 24-7 Distribution Center environment. The person in this role will perform a wide variety of desktop support, system administration and network troubleshooting tasks according to TEIS polices. In addition to technical items, the candidate will work with management to better serve the business using available IT tools.

Responsibilities:
• Provide support for all PC users through a mix of phone, e-mail and deskside service.
• Setup, installation, deployment and troubleshooting of all desktop computer equipment.
• System administration for physical and virtual server infrastructure.
• Network administration for LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
• Support manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Perform SAP troubleshooting and support its use in the organization.
• Manage purchases and vendor relationships.
• Work with Global IT Staff as needed for a variety of short term and long term projects.
• Stay current on IT trends and recommend improvements to better support the business.
• Builds strong and positive working relationships with all functional areas.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Network, Telecomm, Structured Cabling, Windows, Milestone, Mobil devices, Office 365 and PC Support
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Can work with a team as well as independently.
• Highly organized with a focus on maintaining detail at a fast pace.
• Ability to spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements.

Education/Skills/Experience:
• Computer related degree, advanced technical certification or 2-4 years of IT work experience.
• Experience with all current versions of Microsoft Windows Client and Server OS.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Experience with Hyper-V, VMWare, or other virtualization technology.
• Distribution Center experience beneficial.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $62,160-93,240 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
