The Role

  • Working day to day with external tax vendors and review tax calculations and tax returns regarding IRPJ/CSLL and PIS/COFINS
  • Working with KYNDRYL's Business Units and Enterprise Support teams to ensure the facilitation and delivery to external vendors of quality data critical for tax compliance execution
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax regulations and obligations
  • Provision of quality tax operations support to IRPJ/CSLL and PIS/COFINS
  • Understand and assess legislative developments that may impact current and deferred IRPJ/CSLL and PIS/COFINS
  • Provision of day-to-day tax accounting support, including journal bookings, tax account reconciliations and coordinating with internal and external auditors with respect to tax accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on tax-related issues
  • Supporting tax authority reviews and audits
  • Supporting compliance with KYNDRYL Tax Controls Framework & Tax Policies and Procedures

Support new IT projects and tax automation with the IT team

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (previous experience with the SAP platform would be a plus);
  • Knowledge accouting matters to perform reconciliations accounts.
  • The ideal candidate will possess tax and tax accounting experience, preferably with a combination of in-house experience with a large multinational enterprise and relevant Big 4 experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with appropriate level of English and Spanish
  • The candidate must demonstrate proficient use of technical tools and programs required to perform their responsibilities [e.g. MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc..)] and similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
