Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Regional Product Managers (RPMs) manage all aspects of a product portfolio, from driving new product development to managing the lifecycle of the product portfolio for sustained growth and profitability. They are responsible for developing and executing the overall business strategy to meet sales and profit targets.
This role for Product Manager for CPC and T&S will interact closely with the Global Product Managers for these product lines as well as with Engineering and Project Management hubs in the Netherlands and US. This team has a 30y+ history of designing value added products for major OEM customers. The deep customer partnership on innovation & value creation is driven by global alignment and joint execution and is leveraging TE Connectivity's core competencies, application expertise and portfolio depth.

This RPM will need to act with an entrepreneurial spirit and manage the portfolio with a GM mindset. The RPM will engage Sales and Customers directly and will work across functions to manage all aspects of the product life cycle from strategic planning to day-to-day tactical activities with an emphasis on strategic growth and profitability improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for market penetration in the EMEA region for assigned product lines
  • Serve as the primary business contact for regional sales teams, driving regular interlock meetings with local sales teams and customers
  • Define resource requirements for SAM expansion in the region and collaborate with Global Product Management to execute product line strategies, including commercial releases
  • Work closely with the sales organization to define key wins, share gain programs, and execute GTM strategies for faster response and empowerment
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and distributors to drive growth in the region
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and contribute to the product management roadmap strategy
  • Represent customer and distributor needs (VOC) within the product management team to align strategies with market demands
  • Conduct competitive analysis, product cost, and gross margin analysis to drive competitive advantage
  • Lead business aspects of NPI and sustaining projects and resolve product and customer escalations related to delivery, quality, and inventory
  • Collaborate with Operations to improve delivery performance and ensure financial execution of the regional P&L, including bookings, billings, and operational expenses
  • Drive pipeline growth and conversion with a focus on portfolio strategy and value drivers, ensuring countries meet growth actions and business objectives
  • Implement pricing policies as defined by the global product management group

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, segment marketing, application engineering, and/or sales ideally in the industrial market.
• Proven history of meeting/exceeding performance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience
• Business acumen combined with entrepreneurial mind-set
• Customer focus with solution-oriented thinking.
• Strong communication skills with ability to convey complex information to all stakeholder levels.
• Proven ability to prioritize and drive for results.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build credible relationships with multiple organizational functions.
• English language required. Fluency in other languages (French, German, Spanish) is a nice to have
