About the Job:
The Digital and Marketing Technology Project Manager plays a crucial role in managing and prioritizing projects within Taco Bell’s Customer Data, Marketing Automation, and Digital/MarTech initiatives. This role will drive the effective coordination and execution of high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with team goals and strategic objectives. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Customer Data & Solutions, this position will be responsible for building and maintaining processes to measure team capacity and velocity, helping to optimize project prioritization and resource allocation.
The Day-to-Day:
- Project Intake & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project intake, updates, and communication, delivering weekly status reports to the team and cross-functional leads to keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Project Coordination & Execution: Manage and coordinate multiple Customer Data, Marketing Automation, and MarTech projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Oversee the planning of tasks, team schedules, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
- Prioritization & Goal Alignment: Understand the team’s objectives and priorities, working to help the team stay focused on high-impact tasks while minimizing distractions and non-essential work. Support goal alignment by focusing on projects that contribute to strategic outcomes.
- Process Development for Capacity Measurement: Develop a process or deliverable to track and measure the team’s capacity and velocity, providing insights into workload management and improving project planning accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with solution architects, development teams, and execution teams to understand technology requirements and constraints, refining project requirements to align with both technical and business goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, producing presentations and reports to clearly communicate project status, milestones, and impacts. Maintain transparency and keep all stakeholders updated on project progress.
Is This You?
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in project management or program management within CRM, marketing technology, or digital/MarTech.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with a strong understanding of agile methodologies; PMP certification is preferred.
- Analytical & Process-Building Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop processes or tools that improve team efficiency, capacity measurement, and project prioritization.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead both direct and virtual teams in a collaborative environment. Experience managing vendor relationships and building strategic partnerships is a plus.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear and impactful reports and presentations for stakeholders and facilitating productive team meetings.
- Strategic Focus & Execution: Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to prioritize projects that align with team goals and strategic objectives while minimizing time spent on lower-priority activities.

Salary Range: $96,000 - $124,190 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
