Role Responsibilities
  • Global S&OP Transformation Roadmap: Collaborate with S&OP leadership to create a long-term transformation plan, incorporating regional feedback to ensure technical feasibility. Include cross-functional projects on:
    • Process improvements based on KPIs and best practices.
    • Systems functionality driven by process design and digital advancements.
    • Organizational change management and talent development.
  • Program Management & Execution: Manage the implementation of portfolio review and demand planning projects, providing regular updates to the CoE and regional leadership teams.
  • Best Practices & External Benchmarking: Develop a professional network to identify and apply best practices, assessing SGS's demand planning and portfolio management capabilities against external benchmarks.
  • Commercial Analytics: Collaborate with BU S&OP leaders, marketing, sales, and IT to develop analytical capabilities that inform demand planning.
  • Business Process Ownership: Be the decision-maker for SGS's S&OP process focused on demand planning, design, and technology, including standard definitions of KPIs and metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and support the development of business cases for project approval, including IT and resource investments.
  • Qualifications
    • Experience: Over 7 years of operational performance in leading demand within the S&OP process for a major CPG or spirits company.
    • Transformation Projects: Proven track record in leading demand planning business transformation initiatives.
    • Technical Skills: Preferred experience in SAP IBP and strong knowledge of digital technology.
    • Best Practices: Expertise in demand planning best practices with demonstrated application.
    • Continuous Improvement: Proven ability to lead demand planning continuous improvement efforts.
    • Talent Development: Strong capabilities in developing talent and fostering team collaboration.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, analytical and problem-solving skills, and facilitation abilities.
    • Flexibility: Ability to shift between strategic thinking and tactical execution.
    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields; advanced degree or specialized certification is preferred.
