Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather and analyze quarterly and annual forecasts, translating them into actionable production plans for the manufacturing team
  • Develop and maintain demand planning models using NetSuite to enhance forecast accuracy and alignment with company goals
  • Build and lead a high-performing production planning team, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities to foster continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams in the supply chain to manage raw material inventory, analyze historical sales data, and international shipping needs
  • Create and implement a robust production planning process and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with customer deployment schedules and internal operational goals
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, operations, and logistics) to plan for product lifecycle events, including new product introductions, upgrades, and end-of-life (EOL) transitions
  • Drive the implementation and integration of a demand planning module within NetSuite to improve productivity, visibility, and real-time decision-making
  • Leverage NetSuite’s capabilities to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency
  • Act as the primary interface between the manufacturing team and internal customers, ensuring production plans are communicated effectively and deployment schedules are met
  • Proactively identify potential supply chain or production bottlenecks and propose solutions to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the production planning function. Contribute and promote our vision for a world class supply chain operations.
  • Occasional international travel may be required to Yubico offices, customer sites, conferences, and company functions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 6+ years experience working in production planning, demand planning, or supply chain management within a high-tech manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Netsuite and with expertise in demand and supply planning modules
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI)
  • Discipline to execute company’s best practices in security and privacy
