As Manager, HR Operations M&A, you will be accountable for delivering centralised human resource services to our customers. This role will support the integration of mergers and acquisitions globally. The Manager of HR Operations M&A will work with Centre Of Excellence stakeholders, business facing HR, and team members in due diligence. This role will support the effective planning and delivery of HR integration strategy, resourcing, processes, plans and review analysis.
What you will do:
- Support and assist in aspects of HR integration planning and delivery around mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and joint ventures.
- Partner with divisional/group HR professionals, HR M&A COE team members, Legal (Employment/Labor), Global HR, HR operations, Talent acquisition and Project Integration leaders to deliver coordinated, efficient and effective service to the business in representation of the HR function.
- Assist in the creation of HR due diligence reports, recommendations and HR integration risks and prioritize HR integration activities that may include but not limited to retention planning, severance planning, benefits implementation, communications and talent acquisition or headcount synergy planning and execution
- Partner with a global cross functional team to develop integration and execution plans aligned to transition HR or integrating employees into the HR organization and HR processes e.g., Workday and HR operations.
- From a project management perspective, lead relevant Stryker employees, outside consultants, Stryker SME's and all HR related activities across the HR integration planning cycle.
- Support HR functional area partners (compensation, benefits, stock plan administration, HR Operations) as well as other functions (communications, legal, compliance, finance, tax, risk, IT, GQO, etc.) on all relevant aspects of M&A integration work.
- Work with relevant HR Professionals to develop workbooks and tools to support local and or divisional HR Integration Leaders.
What you will need
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years HR experience, ideally in a multinational, matrixed organisation
- Min. 4+ years business-facing HR, HR COE, HR Operations
- 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
- Strong facilitation, consulting, relationship-building, influence, negotiation skills, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated business and analytical ability with a proven ability to build relationships and influence different groups
- Capability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization .
- Skilled with change processes in complex systems
