The Head of Data Governance is responsible for providing strategic oversight and leadership in all aspects of data governance across the division. This role ensures high standards are maintained in line with regulations and ethical requirements, and works closely with the division and its stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives.
What you will be responsible for
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework in accordance with the Global Data Governance Policy
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership in data governance practices
- Ensure compliance with data regulations and ethical standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data standards
- Identify and mitigate data quality issues across all GCF systems
- Create and enforce data retention policies
- Design and implement data classification policies
- Manage data security and privacy controls
- Provide training on data governance best practices
- Monitor and report on data governance performance
- In conjunction with Global Business Leads, drive resolution of data, information and processing challenges impacting operational or business performance

- Deep understanding of lending operations and related applications
- Loan IQ knowledge preferable, but not required

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 12+ years of Financial Services industry experience
- Proven understanding of global environment and ability to collaborate across divisions
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
- Prior business operations experience with proven ability to achieve success within a large organization
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
