CO Salary Range: USD 98,900.00 - 175,300.00 per year

JOB SCOPE

Responsible for providing direction and leadership to designated staff. Develop and maintain test environments, integration strategies and oversee Development Operations initiatives. Coordinate and collaborate with Design, Architecture, Development, Test and Operations to ensure optimal customer experience. Responsible for managing the support of existing and new product development in the environments and the deployment of software systems and components.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Oversee installation and configuration of software and related infrastructures.
  • Manage deployment of software/code/tools, upgrades, patch deployment, OS upgrades in the Engineering test environments.
  • Manage Development Operations deliverables such as standards document, run books, MOPs, etc.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the environment (test data, test accounts, data refresh).
  • Provide overall direction for all areas of Development Operations support for system regarding new and existing technologies and current operating standards.
  • Represent Development Operations in architecture/design phase meetings on all engineering projects to provide input and intimately learn about the code.
  • Consult with managers regarding technical operations and strategic planning of rebuilds, network operations and dispatch, new product development and deployment.
  • Manage Development Operations team members, tasks and schedule.
  • Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies and procedures
  • Maintain effective relations with peers, team, other organizations and vendors.
  • Monitor and provide guidance in the capital budget process to ensure projects are cost effective, completed on time, and on budget.
  • Be part of an effective front line Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports as to drive a high performance culture and environment.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Manager.

BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of Engineering Experience
  • Minimum six (6) years of Cable Industry experience (Engineering)
  • Minimum three (3) years of Leadership experience

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with public and private cloud infrastructure
  • Experience building, designing and deploying large scale software solutions
  • Experience providing leadership within an Agile/Scrum setting
  • Overseeing development and deployment of automation platforms and end point management solutions utilizing JavaScript, or Python for platforms like Tanium, Ansible, Swimlane, Grafana and others
  • Overseeing software release processes, tracking bugs and tickets and performing conflict resolution
  • Constructing comprehensive strategies and requirements to assist in launching new products.
  • Designing and Implementing Observability Pipelines by leveraging OTEL framework
  • Experience with different flavors of Linux environments
  • Demonstrated in-depth experience in relational and non-relational databases (Ideally NoSQL based systems like Cassandra/MongoDB)
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to provide coaching and counseling when necessary
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Effective leadership skills with proven ability to provide effective, results oriented direction
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
  • Knowledge of company products and services

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
