Project Manager- On Site Stamford

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the Program Management of rural broadband expansion that includes monitoring and reporting on key projects at a subject matter, regional, or national level...

Manages project oversight that would include data collection in the form of reporting and communications with the field, construction, and telecom operations to successfully drive project efforts.

This role is On-site, Stamford 4 days. 1 Day Hybrid.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Oversight and monitoring of projects from program award notification through final post-build reporting with local and state entities.

Manage scope milestone timelines of all assigned projects...to ensure successful initiation and completion of projects.

Establish project management processes and methodologies using the appropriate tools to assist the field and construction in meeting the timelines and quality standards that align with Leadership expectations.

Meets with internal customers of an assigned project to provide status updates and reports and gather project-related feedback.

Responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

Performs other duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person , on the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments

Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members

Effective critical thinking skills

Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications including Microsoft Project

Ability to analyze and interpret data

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Project management - 2-5

Preferred Education

Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum
