The Spectrum Reach Advancing Agency Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation within the advertising landscape. In this position you will be at the forefront of identifying, nurturing, and supporting emerging advertising agencies, positioning Spectrum Reach as their essential media partner. Responsibilities include networking, prospecting, and relationship building.

Working in partnership with establish sales teams, you will drive new revenue from a working list of prospective clients with both account close and revenue targets.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with emerging and advancing advertising agencies through strategic networking and outreach efforts.
  • Identify and engage potential agency clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges to tailor solutions that foster growth.
  • Leverage your expertise to present Spectrum Reach as a key player in the advertising ecosystem, showcasing our commitment to supporting developing agencies.
  • Harness a variety of marketing tools, research resources, and out extensive media platforms to align agency needs with our diverse product offerings.
  • Maintain solid understanding of Spectrum Reach platforms, products and services and the value propositions they provide.
  • Maintains current, in-depth knowledge of the marketplace, including competition, and ensures positive and professional relationships with customers, business partners, and co-workers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities using Salesforce.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as established by management.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop effective sales strategy and revenue forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of advertising agencies, their value propositions and business models
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets preferred.
  • Passionate about the convergence of entertainment, technology, and data that is fueling new opportunities for Spectrum Reach and our customers.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

  • 5+ years sales experience with proven track record of building customer partnerships while achieving sales goals.
  • Successful track record of building new client relationships with advertising agencies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of data, analytics, streaming TV platforms, and video options available to local, small to medium size advertising agencies
  • Established network of advertising agency players in Texas and the Southwest.
  • Advertising agency account service and/or development experience
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in clear and straightforward manner
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Ability to multitask within required deadlines efficiently and effectively.
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in motivation and accountability techniques.
  • Resilience, persistence, and ability to quickly establish client trust.
